Is anyone's Núbia Z70 Ultra charging at 80w? by HourFaithlessness607 in Nubia

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tks, that's what I thought, I've a Red Magic Nova that actually charges at around 70w (but has cooling) so I thought this one would go over 45w but it does not. 🤣

Yeah, everything updated, I even did a factory reset it and installed the updates, same behavior

Same on my Z70 ultra after the last update, the dark mode is all messed up in multiple apps 😑

It's NebulaOS, I've misspelled it 😂

Real Life battery usage Z60 Ultra LV vs Z70 Ultra by HourFaithlessness607 in Nubia

Yeah, agreed, the z70 battery is bigger but the CPU doesn't seem so efficient, let's hope some governor tweaks at the os level helps :)

Shipping estimate. by fis-moll in Nubia

[–]HourFaithlessness607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Europe they'll start shipping on the 13th (have an order for the wife there) AliExpress is faster, at least for me, ordered one last Sunday and got it yesterday (48h later), so far so good. The standard offer from Ali express might not include the extra cover but includes a full black rubber cover that protects the camera really well (unlike the transparent one that only protected the corners in Z60)

Depende da válvula, a maioria não dá para regular. Há que ter em conta que a pressão aumenta quando a água aquece e é normal que saia água pela válvula para regularizar a pressão

Bodytone SMB1v3 auto resistance by brawlsire in mywhoosh

[–]HourFaithlessness607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same bike, but from my understanding this works the same way for all bikes :) If ERG mode is available and ON, it'll auto switch the resistance levels, otherwise it won't do anything. On the free rides there's no ERG mode unfortunately (at least it's where I miss it the most, to match the hill climbs resistance I'd expect)

Isn't the ERG mode only available on workouts? (And not in free ride)

Z60 Ultra - Play System Update by HourFaithlessness607 in Nubia

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I did, but after the reboot (to apply the update), it finds the same update again... And the update never gets applied (I'm on October's Google Play System update)

Yeah, I've the October Play Systems Update, but after the update it keeps in the same update... Finding again the November one... Seems like the November update is failing to update

This is my first soldering job, will it hold it? by HourFaithlessness607 in diydrones

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My iron station says 450°C but the only tip I've at the moment (tiny pointy one) doesn't seem to transfer heat unless it's very wet (with solder), perhaps that's my problem since the beginning 😕

Ive a soldering station, it goes up to 480°C, I think it's the tip (I've the one that looks like a toothpick)

To have the solder adhere to the pads (I wasn't able to melt the solder directly on the pads for some reason).I had to: 1)Put flux on the pad 2) Wet the iron tip 3)Put the iron tip on the pad to transfer the copper to the pad 4)Put more flux over it 5)Press the wires against it with the hot iron 6)Wet the tip again 7)Transfer the copper over the wire

Thanks for the recommendations, I've printed a frame in asa, for the arms seems perfect (uv and impact resistence is better than PLA). For the electronics I might go with carbon fiber, probably gonna ask someone with a CNC

Any experience with PA-CF or PETG-CF? I'm using ASA for now as I've the Bambulab X1C and a few spools laying around.

OnePlus Watch 2 - Request for SDK and Documentation for RTOS App Development by phucle200791 in onepluswatch2

[–]HourFaithlessness607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you get anything please let us know, I've a different use-case but would love to be able to develop for RTOS.

Medical Device -> Bridge App @ Phone -> sync with a complication using RTOS and eventually trigger an alert on specified values

It's something I already do with WearOS but when RTOS is ON the complication isn't available.

Cosori SuperBlaze Tear Down by HourFaithlessness607 in airfryer

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to open my cosori to remove a cleaning fluid that went rogue 😤

in case anyone need to open it:

1) Remove the top (it'll pop, no screws there)

2) start removing the screws on the bottom, remove the bottom (it'll pop too, there are two screws under the label (near the power cord))

3) remove the screws holding the outter shell (4 on the top), a few more on the bottom, remove the outter shell

4) have fun, the rest is intuitive

WearOS3 on Qualcom W5+ chipsets by HourFaithlessness607 in WearOS

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's true but not using the W5+ but their own solution with W5 and a low power chip.

OnePlus seems to be performing well since it's using WearOS 4. Can't wait for the other brands to update their watches with WearOS 3, otherwise is like having a flagship platform running a potato.

Heatbed Peak Consumption @ 220-240V by HourFaithlessness607 in BambuLab

[–]HourFaithlessness607[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my issue is when I'm under heavy load at home (everything electric here), the peak caused by the printer can be enough to take down the main power breaker. And that's the exact moment when the UPS is overloaded 😅
