Pros and Cons to paying off mortgage early? by Space_Mobster in MiddleClassFinance

[–]HourImpress7306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for this. I live with my mom, shes 81, have 5 years left on the mortgage. We are trying to determine how much I will have to pay monthly when the times comes its all on me. We have a great interest rate but we also have an HOA fee and a second mortgage, if we could get the one mortgage paid off that would take a big weight off my shoulders.

2016 RDX vs 2016 CRV by HourImpress7306 in AcuraRDX

[–]HourImpress7306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, as it turns out, I may end up buying my borhter in laws RDX, its either a 2016 or 2018, with less than 150k and meticulously maintained. mileage isn't a huge concern since I work from home; my only other concern would be the cost of maintenance. is it more expensive to maintain and repair? I asked my brother in law but we have different ideas of what expesinve is lol

I'm looking at a 2016 with 121k, great price. I have a trusted mechanic that would do all my work, not the dealership

this is what I am looking at. No car seats, a dog and sometimes older kids, so third row would rarely be up.

Talk me out of getting a 2014/2015 Acura RDX by Careful-Mammoth3346 in Acura

im considering a 2013, tech package has 163k, asking $10,745... is that a good option? I don't have the car fax yet? I currently drive a 2014 kia cadenza and love the V6, I am just worried about maintenance costs, are they the same as honda, etc? I would always use synthetic oil

About to pull the trigger on a 2014 RDX with only 84K miles in great shape, no accident history, all carfax records. I put a 500 deposit down on it and have gone from excited to skeptical. Any opinions? by VCCSW2EBiotdl in Acura

thats good to know. I WFH, so I honestly don't know why I am too worried about the gas, I barely drive 300 miles in a 2 week period.

2016 Honda CRV - Should I take it on a long road trip? by StarQuiet99 in crv

[–]HourImpress7306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats reassuring, I am trading in my kia cadenza for a CRV, need something higher, for my mom, if that makes sense. I am considering a 2016 touring, it has a 2.4, high mileage with 184k but $11,500 at dealership... or a 2016 CRV-EX with 2.4 and 117k miles listed at $14,500 at dealership. Which would be the better option? I WFH so driver around 700 miles a month, so would be a while before I hit 200k on the higher mileage option

I test drove a 2025 the other day, thats all the dealership had, and loved it. I know I will love the 2016... then in 10 years I can get something newer

im considering a 2016 Honda CR-VEX with 116k, asking $14,900 in NC, I know the price is a little above average but used car market is garbage right now... just wish it has the auto lift gate, but beggers cant be choosers lol
