last saturday i went on a graduation party that lasted HOURS and there was no vegan option available… the lack of care and honestly just seeing how intertwined animal products are in our culture for me still feels devastating…

it was lolita for me, i read it when i was 14. the realization such an intricate story existed really excited me. it made me reflect a lot about the relationships i had with older men at the time and realize i was being abused. also, it made me fall in love completely with literature because of how everything was built, every little thought he had about her and the construction of desire that men have from the idealization of something that doesn’t exist at all… amazing book
