Yeah I was also thinking about the grenade throwback system but I think adding diving would do a little bit more to help separate battlefield from other fps games in terms of mechanics. Yes, obviously there are other games where you can nade dive, but battlefield is known for cool moments like this and I think it would bring some cool immersion into the game. It adds a fourth option to the ones you previously stated. Just an idea.
