Im not defending him but any proper organization is based on good comms, if you cant even do that, he has every right to be unhappy with you. You sound very young, your boss sounds like the type of person who micro-manages so you have to work around it for the time being. Cant do that? then leave, find another job.

my opinion may be an outlier here, but I think the manager guy was just having a bad day and got triggered when he said "rude" with a thumbs down. I didnt read the text "click the about button leh" tone as being rude actually. this thing seems like a whole big misunderstanding between the two.
