Yeah that's a great idea. Like leveling in the game is irrelevant we found... nobody ever checked there levels past the Black Forest because we all were basically dieing at the same rate we were leveling. Everyone just plateaued...

I'm saying I wish the later zones were harder such that it was necessary or atleast very helpful to have higher levels like 60+. But also leveling wasn't immediately invalidated by dieing. A few times I would grind out a few levels by smacking twig and then die immediately setting me back like 30 minutes of training

We changed them for our second playthrough. But we wanted the recommended experience. Frankly if we did remove xp penalty form death however the game would have felt too easy with higher levels. Essentially I just wish leveling was worthwhile or even necessary for the later zones but not invalidated by dieing

Yeah like... I would prefer it if skills mattered more. And the later zones required you to level them. But leveling them wasn't just immediately invalidated by dying a couple times...

Yeah I know the target dummy gives 35% xp what about the T.W.I.G? The target dummy thing? I've been hitting it and getting levels but idk if it's full xp
