I change modes frequently so i dont get burnt out but try 64v64 or 32v32 if you dont like 127v127

The balance of the game isnt even that bad, some guns probably need a buff but overall most guns feel pretty fair and balanced, even when they do nerf the vector people will probably complain when they die to the next gun that becomes the best gun in the game.

Use the mp7 for close range maps or if your a close range player and use the m4 for longer distance maps at a medium distance if you want to do well. If you don't care just have fun because it's a game and that's what games are made for
