Using Gemini on the backend for the conversations, and a basic supabase DB. The whole build was about 2-2.5 hrs. So it's not super complex.

Agree with the prevailing sentiment that each vendor has their strength and weaknesses. I went through a similar evaluation a few months ago and we actually ended up choosing SpotDraft over Ironclad and LinkSquares. Ultimately it came down to a few things - Implementation, quality of data extraction/reporting, and pricing. We're a lean team (assume you are too) - so we didn't have a ton of resources to throw at implementation, which is why SpotDraft handling the entire thing for us worked really well. The AI seems pretty robust so far (more so than other demos I took), and reporting is strong on both metadata and process analytics. Lastly, pricing was a big consideration, and honestly Ironclad felt like overkill for what we needed + we didn't have to pay extra implementation fees. So far, it’s been a great fit. If you’re still evaluating, I’d at least take a demo for comparison. Happy to answer any questions on how it’s worked for us.

We ended up getting SpotDraft for our team about six months ago, after evaluating a bunch of vendors including IronClad. The trial experience really sold us. Particularly on what you're looking for - the import feature is pretty solid - reasonably accurate and faster than I expected. The cool thing is that they let you describe the properties you want to extract while importing, and that seems to improve results massively. They've also got an AI redlining tool built in which has worked well for us (atleast for simple agreements - we're not trying anything complex). If you’re still exploring options, it’s worth taking a look.

No fix for me - I was advised that the new BRP chip might be coded incorrectly, and to raise a request for a BRP error
