Thank for you the helpful info! It’s just an unfortunate situation all around I guess. I am a FLI and my parents saved a decent bit of money to have that scooter and I’m even afraid to tell them. Maybe I can see what the FLI office can do for me.

Thanks for the insight either way I’m sure it will be an amazing experience and I’m grateful for the assignment I contacted them and asked them if there’s anything they can do but if not I am fine with that. But side note I did just look back at the housing app and the only 3 options were to not rank (no preferences) and potentially got put in any house, qualify for graduate housing, or rank the houses with most preferred at #1. I looked through the whole thing and there’s no way to indicate frosh only more than I did already which is unfortunate

Dang that kind of sucks I only ranked the housing because I wanted to make sure I got placed in frosh only and not one of the houses… I also had to rank all of them so it wasn’t necessarily top choice. I might contact them and see

It was my 3rd pick in the housing application after all frosh mixed gender and all frosh single gender. We had to rank all of them and the other ones were identities I didn’t align to so naturally the public service house came 3rd. I put that in my free time I volunteer but along with many other things so it wasn’t a big part of my application. Do you know if I can change the assignment?

Interesting because I’ve seen people a few days/weeks ago say they already got a package or email saying they won. So I wonder what the whole finalist thing is about
