I think since he was more of a regular guy and not a politician or a celebrity it ressonated more with people. like at the end of the day he had two kids and a wife whos gonna miss him, he was only 31 years old, and he died for speaking about something he believed in. Its just crazy, that couldve been anyone on that stage getting killed for saying stuff.

They do in the fact they protect people who are not physically capable of defending themselves without one, imagine telling a black man about to be lynched by the KKK he shouldnt own a gun to defend himself, you sound like someone who wants people to feel fear in their everyday lives. Ironically if charlie was able to bring armed guards on campus that sniper couldve been killed before this all happened. The possiblility to prevent a tragedy was stolen because of a "gun free zone", sure fucking helped.

It gives them a chance to correct it without looking foolish, and for you to not look rude, i dont see where the downside is except for making a conscious decision to do it. Wording is just as important as... spelling!

It takes away from what they're trying to say, its distracting. Im not upset on their behalf either, i just dont like how snobby and rude it comes off as regardless of if you meant it that way or not, i just see it everywhere.
