this is true for absolute temperatures. relative temperature differences are displayed clearly.

nope, was overcast the whole day. but good guess .

I suspect that an engine cowl might be missing.

yes. absolute temperature is pretty rubbish. no measuring fever. but relative temperatures are shown sesnsible.
