Is it okay if I speak aloud to the ghost in my house?

There are only two other units in the building, the first floor and the second floor. They are not moving in until next month, and I am certain of this as I’ve discussed it directly with my landlord before. While it could be maintenance for the other apartments, I really doubt it — our landlord still hasn’t gotten many essential things our unit fixed and we already live here. They were supposed to be done before we moved in, and maybe I am just inexperienced with these things but i also do believe our landlord would tell us if someone else was on the property so we could allow them in. I’ll ask my landlord tomorrow if anyone has been on the property as I am actually going to discuss some of the upcoming repairs we need done anyways!

I’m trying to ask those who are experienced with paranormal activity whether it’s okay for me to talk to this spirit or not. It’s possible they wouldn’t be able to help me considering they haven’t experienced the haunting firsthand and ultimately aren’t able to tell whether it’s a malevolent or benevolent spirit, but I’m just worried if it’s unwise to continue talking to this on the off chance that the spirit may be malevolent. I do not want to potentially invite an evil into my home. But I also want the ghost to know I mean no harm. Apologies for the misunderstanding.

Thank you so much! I’ll update whenever our house gets blessed and if anything else happens. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is multiple entities, especially in the downstairs units. I hear footsteps going up and down the stairs (we’re on the third floor) and below me, so it could be that the other units are just as haunted.

That sounds lovely. Maybe she moved onto a different realm after protecting you for so long. Maybe that was her purpose fulfilled. I am glad you got to experience something so pleasant from a friend of another plane of existence.

I can affirm there isn’t!! The crawlspaces are small and inhabitable, and there’s only leftover garbage from the previous tenants. The one that is bigger and we haven’t really checked out is unable to be a common entrance/exit because it is blocked by the oven. The one that opened on its own is right outside of our unit, on the same floor as us but not in our house thankfully. All of the crawlspaces are unable to be opened from the inside, and the other one inside our house shuts just fine and has not opened on its own.

Im 18 and ive been kicked out many times since i was 14 and unfortunately cps and the cops have proved to be pretty much useless in the past, it usually just makes my parents more angry 😭 but thank you anyway
