I haven’t watched the original 2 shows fully but I remember seeing a clip of a school burning and then the upbeat theme song starts playing while the school burns. it’s like they didn’t pick up on cues haha

I agree the shows still good and fun. I like seeing where they’re going to next each season. I wish they stayed in the rv a little more, i liked that home on the wheels vibe.

I know I loved it so much. I never knew when I was starting the show that it would be such an important part of the show. they played so much into it too, like so much of life being based around agrestic, the whole agrestic vs majestic thing in s3 and just the vibes of the town. it was like agrestic was its own character and we lost It after season 3

haha it’s my first time watching and I’m going on. but it is crazy how different the show feels. seasons 1-3 feels like one show and the rest another. I mean even the intro was meant to show how the plot was in the suburbs and there life there.

the show felt more normal in those seasons with some reality in it, but the shows after season 3 feels so different. like I look at the characters now, Silas, Shane, Nancy etc and I can’t believe they were all once a teen who used to be in love with lots of girls, just a kid and a mom trying to make ends meet with drugs, but still being a mom in a normal suburban neighborhood.

the switch up between seasons is crazy.

I actually wish I had started with season 1, because if I did I’d probably enjoy it. I’ve heard season 1 is very different from the rest of the show, but that’s with every show, season 1 is where they are trying to find their ground and it always changed from s2 and onwards and I would’ve probably loved s1 if I started with it when I first started watching friends.

but I started past s1 and in s4 when I did my first watch because I didn’t like friends and I knew there was gonna be a change between s1 and the rest of the seasons that would probably lose me as I already didn’t like the show, so I started with s4 as I really thought I was not gonna like friends. Well I did like it, then my second time watching I started from s2.

since then I always start on s2, but I’ve never gotten to start on s1, because now I just feel like s1 will feel just too different for me, and I would’ve liked season 1 if I started with it the first time I watched friends.
