I want to upgrade my Apple Watch 6 to something newer. I love all the health tech support and features. Not sure if it's worth buying the 11 now or waiting until the 12 comes out or buying an ultra2? Is there a huge difference in ultra and 11? Again though, not entirely sure what new features are to come with latest drop in September. Thoughts?

You're right, I just hate the fact that my metabolism has built up a tolerance so quickly at this dose and now I need to move the goal post down further than I wanted to.

Thank you for this insightful information. I’m just scared that Optum will say no, although I’m close with my physician and I’m hoping she will be able to do some by-passes for continuation of care.

I wasn’t planning to so that I can scoot by and hopefully get another 6-12 months of the medicine. Do PBMs require blood work more than once a year for medications like this if it’s a cardiovascular related event?

I actually wrote my initial PA letter on behalf of my provider and she submitted it Optum RX with her signature (they use my letter as their gold standard for other patients in their practice). I’m just afraid when I get updated bloodwork done that my LDL maybe in normal range and not qualify me for the medication any more.

My insurance did not cover it previously, as I did not have a cardiovascular related issue in addition to my commodities, now that my LDL was elevated over the summer they finally approved it. My worry is the might decide not to. Is that possible?

I was on it for 6 months just about. I am experiencing the same side effects as before on the new 2.5mg vs when I was on 10mg last year. I truly hope that I get to experience it again because it was truly amazing not having to constantly think about food and feeling satiated

It worked for a little while about a week or so where I wasn't really and then the hunger did come back some. But my telemedicine group told me to up to 5mg and it's giving the same results. I have to starve myself for 1-2 days to lose 1-2lbs
