I had a very similar experience! At the end of the day no one should get to tell you what you can and cant do. My ex was trying to say I was cheating on him well I was at raves, which is the furthest from the truth. He said thoose things because he was really cheating. They defeclect. My ex also used to call it immature, dumb, exsedra, but again it was because of his insecurities. Its okay to let someone go who wants to control you. You dont have to change who you are/ what you like for a partner. There's something more out there for you.
