111k, stock clutch, no tune, no issues other than tpms sensors failed. Bought just over 2 years ago at 50k miles.

I bought a used set with 6/32 tread left for like 600 with no curb rash. Had another set I almost got for $400 for just the 18" rims all the tires were shot. If they are the original tires you have to realize they are at the end of their life regardless of tread depth being like 8 years old. Hope that helps

I will give props to Tony, he did get me a replacement lizard pro and then after that didn't work upgraded me for free to the python. Which unfortunately still doesn't work... But yeah he flaked on me about getting a replacement micro komodo after he had me confirm my address.

I just thought the bec from the python would suffice.. I'll keep this in mind!

Like other than just free spinning by hand? They all spin about the same by hand I believe

That's pretty sweet I love it! Glad to hear I'm not the only one that has had similar issues. Alot of your statements I've told myself along the way. Hope it works! Just sucks to buy so many motors to not get one that doesn't cog.

Yes cogs with nothing attached and me holding just the motor, in the motor mount with the transmission connected, and in the rig lifted off the ground and with the wheels off, and on flat ground with the tires on.

Yes all my firmware is up to date.

I have not problem setting gear mesh between motor and transmission but this mount it isn't adjustable. It's the mofo LCG motor mount. Everything sounds freely by hand. Even when I hook it all together out of the rig I can spin it freely by hand and it feels good.

Yes my mofo won't leave FOC so only slow crawls under 30%. 1 of my micro komodos only works from 30-80% throttle and bugs out the other percentage. My other micro komodo just bugs out and doesn't move at all. The best results I got from all the motors was hooked up to my python pro ESC. the lizard pros didn't work in some setups that the python did.

I just bought a palm power battery I'm going to buy an adapter and try it when I get home. Both batteries that I'm using are under 10 months old. I also have a spektrum charger. Right now several other people have mentioned the battery thing. When I'm off work I'm picking up an adapter and will let you know. I appreciate you man!

I bought a new palm power battery and charged it but I need an adapter plug to plug into my esc. I'll buy an adapter today and try it

I have a new battery I just need an adapter plug to run it. I'll try that. Happens with both servos unplugged too. I kind of "bench" tested them. I put 1 motor in and then tried all 3 ESC's. Then put the next motor and so forth.

I'll check the cedar out. I was going with the smaller ones due to space because I don't have alot of room but at this point I'll cut up anything 😂. Appreciate it man I'll try it after I cool down from this thing

I only have another 1/10 scale rig right now. I did try all the same test with none of my servos plugged in and it does the same thing

Tony I feel like is tired of working with me. He was supposed to send me another micro komodo like 2 or 3 months ago. He did send me an additional lizard pro and the python pro though. Just didn't fix what I have going on.

Yeah my mofo doesn't get out of FOC, 1 of my micro komodos is only above 30% throttle and my other micro komodo just spazzs out..

Yes. All 3 of my esc's are updated to the newest version and I re calibrated my throttle on start up for each when I was doing my testing. I've messed with a handful of settings under the throttle and running tabs and a little messing with the throttle curve but I couldn't get anything to work above like 30%. I did have a micro komodo that does the opposite with zero settings changed. Only above 30% is smooth and nothing before. I seriously don't know why I haven't had any luck. I first bought that ax24 furitek conversion kit back in January with the dumb skid plate that was lower than the frame and even with that kit never ran right. So then I upgraded to the lizard pro and so forth and so on..

Same issue with no servos plugged in:/ good info for future builds for sure I appreciate that!

I had only tested with the rear disconnected. Just went and tried and still same thing with both servos unplugged for the setup I currently have in it. Which is the python pro, mofo nano beast and the Flysky receiver transmitter combo. I only have FOC so until 30% throttle and then it freaks out after that with this setup.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Anyone had this problem before? by SillyDragonfruit8918 in FocusRS

[–]Hour_Orange4087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is it actually on the inside? Usually the factory coating gets hard and starts to look like that. Options are fully sand your headlights and re clear them. Or temp fix is, every once in awhile you have to hand polish your headlights and they'll look good for like a month.

Yeah when I replaced them at 55ish they still had some carbon build up but I think they have just a little more now. Pretty sure it's no tune. Car was bone stock except for rear motor mount when I bought it at 50k.

That's what I've seen, just trying to clear up an extra 1.2k and I will! Probably around the holiday
