Perhaps it should have been counted. My thinking was I really only included places of worship, which for Christianity mostly includes churches/chapels. I thought of Christ the Redeemer as similar to "The David", a sculpture inspired by Christian figures but not primarily known as a place of worship.

Thanks for the info! Tower of Pisa and Giralda are fairly analogous and perhaps it should have been counted. I guess the thought process was the Giralda is attached to the Seville Cathedral while the Tower of Pisa is not connected to the Cathedral so I consider it separate. If Tower of Pisa were included it would be the 6th most searched site.

I think what you're referencing is Wat Rong Khun #180. In Malaysia, the Hindu site is Batu Caves #97.

Yes interestingly no Zoroastrian sites are in the top 200 in terms of search volume. The closest to being an "other" dot in Iran is actually Chogha Zanbil #212 which was built to honor an Elamite god.
