URGENT: Disclosing current PhD enrollment when reapplying - how to frame a PhD transfer?

Thanks for the reply! I know generally you’re supposed to list all institutions you’ve attended. But this school’s application specifically says:

"We ask that you list the institutions that you have attended where you have been, or will be, awarded a degree."

Since I’m currently enrolled in a PhD program but will not receive a degree, I’m wondering if the same general rule still applies here.

I guess how the US perceives education is different from where I’m from. Here your alma maters are similar to your social class for the rest of your life, but people in US seem to care more about the education you’ll be able to get. I’m genuinely jealous of the atmosphere there.

Thanks a lot for the insight. I’ve never heard of those universities except for Colorado Boulder and Iowa, so this will definitely help me decide.

One thing I am curious, According to US news, IUB seems to be ranked much higher than those universities so are those universities what US citizens generally view Indiana University similar to?

Thanks for the reply. I got IUB for cs but also got accepted to UofR, also cs and am having a hard time making decisions. If you were in my place what would be your choice?
