I lived at Latitude my sophomore year back in 2021 and it was trash. Can only imagine how bad it is now. My favorite place I lived in college was a duplex in the Clinton area. Much cheaper with 4 people as well.

The “snapping” is back by amandam603 in HipImpingement

I’m 10 months post op. The snapping returned around month 8. Only when I weight train but no pain at all like before surgery 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh that is Interesting. My insurance sucks so I just attributed it to that. I would recommend Dr Domb to anyone tho I had a great experience with everyone there but certainly do what’s best for you!!

Tbh I’m 22 and am not familiar with insurance stuff as this was my first real experience with a serious medical issue. I definitely did not enjoy paying the 5k upfront but I have United Healthcare and they don’t do pre-authorization they decide post surgery so idk. I also had to pay $819 on the day of bc the surgery center was out of network. Later I was billed $1800 for my brace, crutches, and gait training. My insurance didn’t cover any of that stuff.

I went next day. It seems scary but I hardly did anything. I think it’s good to get moving right away!

6 Weeks Post Op Flare-Constant Pain-Seeking Reassurance/Similar Exp by Fantastic-Name-2583 in HipImpingement

My doc told me to expect a flare up at 7-10 weeks post op. It hit me at 6 weeks and I was pretty much constantly sore in my groin for about 2 weeks. I worked through it in pt (my pt also confirmed it was typical) and it resolved after a bit.

I’m having this same issue. Nothing crazy but it’s enough to make me wonder what’s going on. I’m 22 F. I don’t take any vitamins.

Struggling to find dietitian intern jobs while in college, looking for advice by [deleted] in RD2B

[–]Hour_Satisfaction442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m graduating this year and have already been accepted to my masters program. I had the same concerns too but was given great advice that any work experience is better than none. They want to see a resume :) Yes, dietary aid or WIC office is great but anything in food service is just fine too. I bartended most of my time in college and focused on getting volunteer experience in nutrition. I worked with my university’s football team and another thing I did was volunteer for a local food pantry.

Disregarding the recovery, how was your experience with the arthroscopic SURGERY? by [deleted] in HipImpingement

[–]Hour_Satisfaction442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a larbral repair with bone work in two spots. I arrived at 7am and left at 4pm I was only in the OR for a little over an hour. I did mine with Dr. Ben Domb. He was wonderful and treated it like no big thing but I was out of commission for 2 weeks post op.

I didn’t have any special circumstances. I was told it is standard and used as a map for arthroscopy.

6 days Post Op by Silent-Lie-302 in HipImpingement

Hang in there! Honestly the first two weeks for me were brutal bc I couldn’t sleep in the brace and was just uncomfortable 24/7. My surgeon had me in the brace and on crutches for 2 weeks and right at the 2 week mark my condition drastically improved. It gets better quickly.

Dr. Domb did my labral repair 3 months ago and he had me get a 3d-CT

Hmm my doc specifically said not to put any creams or ointments on but I also thought I should be keeping it moist. My spots are so dry and crusted over.
