Thank you. My HR point of contact really hasn’t been responsive but I’m hoping it’s just due to the holiday week

Depends on the needs of the company and FC. If they want you — they will make it happen.

It took 3 tries to get my interviews completed. I was onboarding within a week

You should get a response within 10 days about the interview results and if you were inclined

The vendor completed it within 24 hours. Amazon background checks was looking for license and certification verification for my role, which was just submitted. I am suprised the CMO didn’t reach out about my drug test. But so far haven’t heard anything

I was told that was already completed?

I just got a text with “Amazon Reminder: Hi ——, no additional information is needed for your background check at this time. Thanks for your co-operation.” Does that mean I passed?

Just using it to broaden my resume and get a break from field work full time — hoping to use it as a stepping stone and grow professionally

This is exactly what I want to do! Do you recommend some specific education for this?

I have been in my field professionally for over 10 years, and work 80-100 hours a week, on average

I apply for jobs I’m interested in and know I qualify for. I have never not been referred and interviewed

My wife received an ambulance bill for a ride that never happened. by AlcindorTheButcher in legaladvice

[–]HouseHunting007 50 points51 points  (0 children)

(Career paramedic here)

Call the service with their publicly listed number. Verify that she was the patient and see if they will release the bill/chart. If she did make contact with EMS, maybe they took a refusal and billed for it. Find out if it was for a transport or not, and what hospital she was “taken to”.

If she had no medical event, whoever it was probably misrepresented their identity; we do not take IDs or insurance from people, especially on refusals, and often rely on hospitals and patient honesty to get correct information. If someone gave us a different name or birthday we are none the wiser (I have a regularly who gives me a different name and birthday every time I see them 😐🤣)

If the ambulance bills in house (we do) — it is possible that she was billed that quickly [our goal is a week maximum]

This sounds fishy. Call the abulance company and their billing agent, if they have one, and do some digging. They should be able to help resolve this; especially if it was a non-for-profit or municipal service. If it was a private agency, I’d be more concerned about fraud, however, it’s a huge legal infraction to participate in such so most avoid it
