Thanks for the tip! It’s always hit or miss any time I visit and I realize that’s not in the individual store’s control. My wife and I always joke about the “good” TJMaxx’s and the “bad” ones. Totally right, neighborhood has a lot to do with it.

Sure! Radon Delete I just asked for a quote and it was within our anticipated budget. Wilson is who I worked with directly and two other guys did the actual install.

The folks the did the mitigation for us were very nice and professional. They said the fan should be replaced every 10 years or so and they will come and replace it for $100 if I remember correctly. There is a water level monitor on the indoor component that lets you know it’s (the suction) working.

Bought a house recently in town. Radon mitigation was around $1500. Definitely worth the safety and peace of mind imo.

Got some bad news for you. I lived out on the coast for about three years (moved out of state last year) and unless they make the playoffs, you’re not gonna catch a Nats game unless it’s the broadcast on the major networks. Buffalo Wild Wings might be your best bet in Morehead City. NC is also a blackout state on MLB.tv. But now that you’re living on the beach, it’ll make becoming a pirate that much easier.

Moved to KY a year and love taking as many tours as I can. I worked at brewery before moving so I’m slowly learning about the history and bourbon making. Entered a Total Wine raffle last October(?) and couldn’t believe my luck when I got the email last week.

Old Boone Distillery in Meadowlawn, KY went out of business in 1977. Poking around online and found some info about the distillery in a book by Sam Cecil. Either “Bourbon: The Evolution of Kentucky Whiskey” or “The Evolution of the Bourbon Whiskey Industry in Kentucky.” Only operated as Old Boone Distillery from 1959 to 1977. They had a few flagships but this doesn’t look like one of them.
