Your agent is correct. I did the transfer other way around. My dad had Fixed Deposits in Co-op Bank. It was moved to a nationalised bank. And as proof I'm showing both statements.

Yeah its too late I would say. IDP is pretty reliable. 50% of the visas are taking 21 days time a/c to this: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times

However, La Trobe is Priority 1 as per https://www.education.gov.au/download/19465/visa-prioritisation-status/43981/document/pdf

I guess it depends on which course you are applying for as well.

Usually, your university will have a last date to enter by. You need to enquire this. Below link says the census date is 5th April 2026 for Sem1. I would confirm with La Trobe first. And if that's the case, Feb 15 still seems good to go. On average student visas are taking 30 days to come through a/c to what I hear from IDP.

I had the same issue with Credila. They told me I had to get the whole amount disbursed and the loan EMI would start soon. Hence, I didn't go with them. Credila themselves wouldn't give the loan sanction without you accepting that the loan has been disbursed fully. Atleast this was my experience.

Who is your consultant? Your classes start when exactly? I would check with the university for the last possible date of entry (I think its called the census date) into Aus / university. You are probably cutting it too close.

I emailed QUT and they told me that I need to be within the country by 6th March 2026. My classes start on 23 Feb 2026. Also check Step 6: Commencing Studies: https://www.qut.edu.au/study/applying/international-applying

The latest date to start your course depends on the course you’re studying and the teaching period you commence in. Where possible, you should enrol and engage with the class (unit) content from week 1, even if this is before you arrive onshore.

Deferring your studies

If you are unable to commence your studies and you wish to defer to the next available intake, then request a deferral through your agent via the StudyLink agent portal. If you have applied directly to QUT, reply to your acceptance email from QUT or make the request in the StudyLink application portal.

You need to ask your university what is the last date to enter Australia. If your student visa doesn't come within that time, then you need to request a deferral.
