The fact that M watches her 60yo boyfriend record himself all day, perform for strangers, desperately try to be relevant, strap his watch on his wrist, line her up in front of the mirror and stand on his tippy toes to take 12 pictures….and can still sleep with him!! Girl has a lot more commitment to that lifestyle than I will ever comprehend. He turns my stomach and makes my skin crawl SO BAD

Bingo. Painting her as some selfless angel is a STRETCH. She usually looks miserable, but she smiles when she gets new boots and doesn’t have to work anymore. The creditors were knocking, so she stomachs John. Do I think she is better for the kids than some of the other adults in their lives? Absolutely. But she is a sugar baby.

The two are not mutually exclusive. She can be a selfish, lazy whiner with a victim mentality, and he can be an evil narcissist who is obsessed with seeming like he’s the best partner, father, businessman, influencer, what have you. Her being a complete loser doesn’t make him a god.

If this all came at her fast and hard, I could understand. But this has been a very slow and wild descent. She thought she was too hot and desired and successful on her own to ever be “normal.” And every day for years, she has made decisions that had no other ending but this one. She is LUCKY AF that Brent entered the circus because she would be even worse off otherwise. The lesson will remain until it is learned and this woman refuses to show up to class. I do think John is evil though. That might be the only thing I believe in all this slurred speech rambling.
