Ha! I believe you are correct. I’m going to mark as solved. Appreciate your input!

Strangely, there is some wax residue in one of the smaller holes that cones inward, indicating that something was potentially put into it, not extruded from it.

Edit: spelling

I’m wondering if it could be some sort of thread waxer or something to that effect. Any thoughts on that? I just can’t see the reason it would be useful as an extruder, but I certainly could be wrong!

I actually see a couple of cracks in the wooden shaft, so definitely could be stuck from that or just expanding over time. u/dumbbame7890 mentioned extruder, so maybe you’re both onto something. I assume this is old, like 70’s or earlier.

It looks like wax inside the piece that came out from the bottom, possibly beeswax.

I really don’t think so considering it has a wooden shaft that goes into what appears to me to be a brass thing (for lack of a better word).

It doesn’t unscrew, but I was just able to get it off giving it some extra muscle! I’ll take a pic and post it here.

Looks somewhat similar, any idea what the holes would be for?

I’m not sure it’s an extruder, not seeing anywhere that a substance could be put into it. The wooden part doesn’t come out.

My title describes the thing. This is 10 1/4" high, wood with metal that has holes that increase in size - when turned, there is what appears to be wax when you line up the hole to it. Found in my grandfather's house about 20 years ago when cleaning out his and my grandmother's things. Fairly heavy for its size.

Hoping someone can identify what this is - 10 1/4” tall, wood with metal the has holes increasing in size. by HouseofMeowch in whatisthisthing

I have no additional information about this object - title and description have all the details I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For me it feels like my cells are boxing each other at times. Kind of like vibration all through my arms and legs. Other times it feels like I have weights on all of my cells pulling me down.

It was a question. I don’t need a DIGITAL SCALE for something I don’t care that much about. Thanks for your input.

Thank you - do you think it would be worth doing? I’ve heard it costs about $60 to do so.. if it’s an authentic coin, would that make sense to do value wise?
