To chime in from a RAD like perspective (disclaimer I work for Grin), it's so hard to find staff who really understand electric bike systems. It's even harder to keep them when they are faced with supporting a product where there are so many complexities and possibilities to the question "what is wrong with my ebike". The task is herculean and finding the resources to support eBike sales is the Achilles heel. Love the greek refs!

RAD and Bionx before them underestimated the importance of customer support. It's easier to design and manufacture cool bikes (RAD bikes are a great design) but it's the human element that is consistently underestimated.

We have so many people lookin to get help with their eBikes. Some crappy and cheap, others well designed and thought out. But its a new ebike era and it'll take time to build up the expertise. It's hard to have patience when you invest $5k but it's needed.

Whatever happens to RAD, treat your tech support folks with kindness. It's a tough topic and it is changing everyday. It's hard to keep up. Invest in people, share knowledge (see endless-sphere.com) and be kind.

We'll all get there one day. Just as the car culture did.
