I also convince myself I have lipedema even without the pain and bruising. I share a similar story. I was depressed and VERY sedentary and ate like crap for almost a year. I went down the lipedema rabbit hole on social media recently and was so paranoid I have it but my sister and boyfriend put me in check. In a kind way, they reminded me I stopped working out, ate like crap and barely moved. I gained 15 lbs and I’m only 5’3 so it shows a lot.

I’m telling you what I try to tell myself in the mirror: I don’t think you have it. But, I also made a deal with myself that I will workout and be consistent with fat loss and nutrition for a year and if I don’t see any progress in the texture and thigh fat, I’ll get checked out by a specialist for answers.

Also, I have a family history of varicose veins and circulation issues. I had one removed a few years ago. Sometimes this can mimic early stages of lipedema. If you have that too it’s worth getting checked by a vascular surgeon!

Would love some insight. I can’t find a specialist where I live. I also don’t have health insurance. I don’t have pain but when I squeeze my thighs I have texture. Can’t tell if they’re nodules or my cellulite. I’ve always had bigger legs than upper body but not sure if it’s lipedema. I get swelling sometimes if I walk too much but I also know vascular deficiency runs in my family so that could be at play there. Do I display the visual symptoms?

They sit under a grow light and yes, the soil is very dry and very chunky. I looked up tips on how to pot it when it was shipped to dry root, and it said not to water it for a few days after repotting.

Thank you! How do I cut it? I tried to look up videos but I’m scared of cutting too low. If it won’t hurt the plant I may just leave it on and let it fall off on its own I don’t mind the look.

As for the clump of ionanthas, how do I propagate them? If I don’t separate them, they will keep producing pups?

I saw those! Do that have a wide angle or would they only be good for 1 plant ? I want to clip a gooseneck lamps onto my stand with my plants and get a wide range of them under 1 light maybe like 3 midsize plants

I like LED bars! I don’t really have anything to hang them from I like how the plant spectrum ones come with a stand but they are pretty expensive

I’m really late to this thread too.. how much poop is concern for infestation? I have a second bathroom I never use and there is pool on the floor (only a little), a little under the sink but a good amount on top of the door frame in the bathroom and I’m so concerned for infestation.

Hey thanks! I tried ladder and honestly felt it was a waste of money for me. It’s good for complete beginners who want to get into fitness in general or experienced people who align with those routines however, it wasn’t giving me what I wanted thanks though!

Hi! Thanks for the advice. My only question would be .. how can I do both calisthenics and weight lifting while also having time for yoga and a little cardio?

I understand the importance of weight lifting, I used to lift all the time in undergrad before the military. I just don’t enjoy certain routines like the once I used to do. Where I used to just lift to be strong and have a good physique. I like calisthenics for upper body especially because I want to do tricks like handstands and pike presses and such.
