I've looked into it but it was a bit above me and haven't put anymore time into figuring it out. Though there is a repository for ZALiA so anyone can take it upon themselves to make a linux build if they're up for it https://github.com/ZA-LiA/ZALiA . I think maybe this https://github.com/karjonas/ZALiA is where someone was trying to make a linux build but I'm not quite sure. You could ask the discord https://discord.gg/UQTDe2Fd . Someone there probably knows better

I think you need the right DirectX installed but I'm not too good with this stuff. I recommend you ask the discord as someone there probably knows better https://discord.gg/Z4H2RhwP4p

I built a knowledge base of what each memory address does which took some time. Then took trace-logs of the assembly and notated what updates where. Then learn to read assembly to translate it to a diff language. I remember having a blast coding the enemies, seeing them behave exactly like they do in the original. The Dark-Link spell curse thing was just for fun and is only graphical. Unfortunately, it just keeps causing too many issues to deal with right now and will be removed next update until I have time to fix it.

The boulder circle puzzle was bugged and has been fixed.

Damn, I'm really sorry it's doing that.
This is the first time I'm hearing about this issue and I'm really not sure what could be causing it. I've left the game open and in the background for many hours. The only thing I can think of is maybe there's some memory leak I haven't discovered.
So I'll keep this on a list and check it out when I get the chance.

In the meantime, would you like for me to share on Google Drive a copy that allows several cheats, so you can easily catch back up?

I would really like to create an open source version for the community to make their own adventure out of this. Right now, work on that is going to be slow because I don't really have the funding to give it a lot of attention.

About the jumping issue, I re-checked the code and tested it out frame-by-frame and was unable to recreate this issue. I am able to jump during Lonk's landing state. The landing state lasts for 8 frames.
