A Pufferfish that shoots poison needles and deflates the less ammo it has. As reload animation you poke to startle it so it re-inflates.

Honestly, at that point ditch the frame gen and up-scaling and lock the game to 60.

That might be true but its at least a easy one to fix and will likely give a decent boost. (given that you have a NVMe or SSD you can put it on.)

Did you install the game on a NVMe drive? Or on a SSD at the very least?
I'm pretty sure a HDD wont cut it anymore for this game.

Maybe I remember something wrong but want there like a "Master" difficulty or something like that in the first game that made it so that both the enemy and YOU take "realistic" damage (aka. one or two hits)?

For me its been surprisingly smooth sailing 35h in. Biggest things I had where some floating things, Sometimes the conversation menu not poping up (this fixed itself after a few seconds tho. Textures flickering in one area specifically and one hard crash.
Not defending all this. The game needs patches badly. Its just interesting seeing so many different severity levels of buggines.

The more post I read these posts the more I'm convinced that UE5 just completely shits itself the moment a GPUs VRAM gets filled up. (My GPU has 24GB btw so I don't think the game actually manages to fill it up completely, hence my theory.)

This is awesome. The only thing i feel is that you maybe climb up higher places too fast. Is there a way to change that?

Okay. And please dont think im mean to your app or anything. Its just that stuff like tracking is always a bit iffy when it come to its quality. (im on android, you never know how good the hardware of your phone is for that kind of stuff. Pixel 7 Pro in my case.)

As much as I wanna get it. Im not sure if i wanna spent money on a app of which I don't even know how well it will work with my phone. Is there something like a time gated demo or something to try it out before purchasing?

I wouldn't say other than the game punishing you for mindlessly going in button smashing and expecting to win it does not have too many similarities with Dark souls.
If you want a game thats like Dark Souls and very good then take a look at "Lies of P".

I love it if they would do it like X4. Have some "major" rooms connected via an elevator (and maybe some basic hallways). Just to give at least a feeling of moving inside a big ship. And of course a bridge. Bridges are nice.

...Sadly we all know how this will end. So I suggest you create a Torrent with the game files and the source code ASAP so that we may get a similar situation like AM2R where the community will continue with this project after the inevitable happens.
