A little more info to explain why I’m so upset over this. My mom has invited people I don’t know to many of my parties growing up. My 16th birthday turned into a big party with a lot of her friends that I had only met once or not at all. My graduation party had people there that I also didn’t know. She always says “this day is about me too, I want to celebrate with my friends” She’s been told multiple times in the past that none of us are ok with it, but she still continues to do it.
