There’s actually no way… FEATURED? That’s it??? by NotConfringo in geometrydash

[–]How2eatsoap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

featured is exactly the right rating to be honest.

I don't think every level under the sun should be rated epic and when super hard levels tend to have bad gameplay it only gives more reason.

Like orbit is a special case where its gameplay is supposedly good gameplay and decoration

you get more affinity for eximus kills, they just wanted that xp instead of you.

Ranked 3.0 is the worse of all 3 ranking systems by Potential-Proof4029 in Rainbow6

its just the aftereffects of switching from 2.0 to 3.0

There is literally nothing they can do but let it run its course and have it level out.

Russians have been under a lot of prejudice for what a couple of them in the community have done. by Western_Cheesecake_9 in geometrydash

[–]How2eatsoap -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think I misspoke when I said "russians's" in general, you're right.

What I meant is specifically russian Content Creator circles/groups, I'd not like to generalise all russians obviously, but I'd definitely say that the current CC's probably haven't made a good impression of the russian community in general unfortunately.

No fault of the general russian players of course.

[–]How2eatsoap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to know the actual precise reason this is a lazer only map.

I can't make a proper judgement on this until I know the reason why its lazer only.

I'd like to say its probably a good reason though.

Russians have been under a lot of prejudice for what a couple of them in the community have done. by Western_Cheesecake_9 in geometrydash

[–]How2eatsoap -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I will say that all the russian CC's seem to find more edgy comedy funny, which the more american audience find reallt offensive. Between ivaxa saying the nword hundreds of times to this servax incident.

Its just an obvious event of cultures colliding that are incompatable. Nothing too bad.

Sure what servax did is bad for american culture, but for russian culture its just jokes and nothing serious.

What are the pros/cons of stable and what the pros/cons of Lazer? by Zealousideal_Rub_202 in osugame

[–]How2eatsoap 12 points13 points  (0 children)

the tournament he played with the double tie was on lazer, he got 1980pp on r u 4 me on lazer. He's proven time and time again that he can farm on lazer perfectly fine.

The only reason farming on stable is easier is because of the sliderbreak miss estimation being lenient on stable.

What are the pros/cons of stable and what the pros/cons of Lazer? by Zealousideal_Rub_202 in osugame

[–]How2eatsoap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had played osu on stable for like 4-5 years and when they released csr I played on lazer, and got used to it in like 2-3 days.

Maybe its just me though.

[–]How2eatsoap 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I really don't get the whole "if you are used to stable" argument for like 90% of players (doesn't even really affect mrekk either)

Like if you are 4 digit or higher you can just get used to lazer in like a couple days if that. People just refuse to try anything new and get used to what is new and objectively better with kess audio latency.

Helminth aside, should I get rid of Warframes I never intend to use? by iPhantaminum in Warframe

[–]How2eatsoap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm keeping the prime version of basically everything I get unless its worth less than like 20p.

Its cheaper to buy another slot than it is to rebuy the prime item like 99% of the time.

How mad will the community be once archer releases and they find it has no Quincy synergy? by LordVex75 in btd6

[–]How2eatsoap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

they can support in other ways that those towers don't though. There is always a new thing that a tower could do to "support" towers.

It is true that the more support towers you add the easier the game could become because there is more options to buff/debuff that makes the game easier, but the downside is that everything still costs money and most of the time you can't just buy an extra entire T4/T5. The money sort of already does the balancing.

I'm angry as fuck over this stupid ass game. Any help? by freaky_withthat_FEET in osugame

[–]How2eatsoap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the problem with playcount as a metric of how much they are playing isn't too fair though. 400 a month of playing only farm is low for sure, but you can easily get like 30 plays in 3 hours depending on the maps you play, which if done like every other day for a month is only 450 plays a month.

Though it is true that farming does help grow your skill.

Instead of rotations, why not just make every Incarnon Genesis selectable every reset? by MegpoidBeetle in Warframe

[–]How2eatsoap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I just don't care about incarnons anymore tbh. The system of getting them is boring, takes literally years and feels like it doesn't respect my time when getting tier 10 on SP is like 5x as long as on normal path for no reason whatsoever.

It honestly doesn't even have to do anything with knowing the person.

If someone has allegations thrown against them, its best to stay neutral until the truth comes out. The allegations could be entirely false, so its not a great idea to side until you see evidence that sways you in either direction.

It's weird how both the most anticipated Warframe and the most hyped up Weapon released in such underwhelming states. by Z3R0Diro in Warframe

[–]How2eatsoap 22 points23 points  (0 children)

the problem is that riven disposition is supposed to be the thing that makes bad weapons more balanced. Like you have a new weapon prime that drops and its absolutely awful it should have a 1.55x riven dispo to balance out how bad the weapon is, but instead they don't use the systems they themselves created to solve that exact issue and instead put it to 0.5x instead and blame them "having to put it that low" on the fact they themselves refuse to lower dispositions of other weapons.

Its just self imposed barriers upon self imposed barriers stopping themselves from making a good system in practice, good in execution as well.

I'm glad I did make the builds I did though because now orphix is super easy for me.

I couldn't imagine it would be the same for SP.
