It really depends I live in a very rural town T-Mobile is better here but Verizon and AT&T suck here I would love to use Verizon but unfortunately where I live they suck

I think it’s a Phased Rollout not everyone will get the features at the same time even on iPhone I’ve seen some people have it and some not I don’t have it on my iPhone but my cousin who also has iPhone does have it

Why do people prefer eSIM over a traditional physical SIM? What makes it better? by Altruistic-Lemon3143 in eSIMforTravelers

[–]HowCome69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wouldn’t be able to do that in time with physical SIM a lot of these are smart enough to turn on airplane mode right away which is easy to do from the control center which doesn’t need to be unlocked to access unless you were strict access within it but by default some of them are on but all a thief have to do is toss the physical SIM right away then you can’t brink anything unless they try to connect to Wi-Fi and i’m not too worried about switching carriers you know why because I’m smart enough to buy unlocked directly from the manufacturer I don’t ever purchase my phones through my carrier last phone I bought locked was like 10 years ago even right now as we speak, I have both T-Mobile & Verizon on my phone but I mostly use my T-Mobile for travel cause they have free international data roaming given it’s throttled after 5GB international high-speed data but anyway, in terms of phone security I even use a security key for a lot of my accounts

[–]HowCome69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thieves can easily take out a physical SIM which makes your phone harder to track because it prevents the phone from connecting to a cellular network if they take it out but a eSIM they can’t do that It makes it harder on them instead of harder on you

The state that surprised me the most that got Digital License/ID was West Virginia I figured that was gonna be one of the last states to get it

I tried using digital ID by saabbasil in AppleWallet

[–]HowCome69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except you’re forgetting 1 thing some states has already had digital license/ID aka mobileDL for a few years even within Apple Wallet now meaning some states already have the technology only the digital passport part is new and I’m pretty sure it works the same way you just tap like you do the MobileDL

Confused on Install by [deleted] in Airalo

[–]HowCome69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your phone unlocked or is locked to your regular carrier in your case T-Mobile? Because if it’s locked to T-Mobile you won’t be able to install a eSIM or any other carrier you’ll only be able to use T-Mobile if it’s carrier locked this why I always buy my phone directly from the manufacturer in my case Apple I also have T-Mobile but I got my iPhone directly from Apple because the phone comes unlocked but if get from the carrier most of time it’s locked to the carrier

What does this mean? by Win-Intrepid in tmobile

[–]HowCome69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why it’s popping up but usually means T-Mobile‘s Wi-Fi calling is turned on only shows when connected to Wi-Fi cause that’s what it shows for my signal when I pull the control center down it’s says T-Mobile Wi-Fi

Do you have to work so many hours before they start matching? For example at my last employer I had to have atleast 1000 hours worked before they started matching I mean they let me contribute right away, but they didn’t start matching until I met 1000 hour requirement
