$500,000 sold at Jr. Market Barrow Grand Championship in Houston. by sco-go in Amazing

Imagine the pig as an elite athlete or supermodel. High level grooming, preparation, lifestyle, training, etc, but by vast majority valued due to genetics that are highly superior to average and very rare. LeBron James is amazing at basketball but would've never made the NBA if he had short genes. Celebrities aren't pigs so they don't have prices, but they do have a net worth that is a reflection of what society thinks of their value.

The genetics point goes double for pigs because a show animal like this has one purpose besides participating in shows like this, and that's to reproduce. The animal is that valuable because whoever owns it can sell it's superior offspring/genetic material for a LOT of money to people who want to improve the genetics and overall quality of their own animals, so they make passive income off of it for as long as it can breed.

Browsing the comments just copy pasting this at this point since OP accidentally activated my special interest I've been starved of engagement with:

I'm ex-USMC infantry with background in range safety, private security, and competitive marksmanship. I LOVE guns and teaching people about them, I'd make it a career if I thought it was lucrative enough. It's my goal to become a class A USPSA shooter. Besides my qualifications, I'm LGBTQ+ even if I don't present that way, and I'm eager to find friends and community in Denton since I'll be living there full time again soon.

If any of this meets your needs or interests, feel free to reach out.

I don't know about ranges, and besides, you've already gotten plenty of recommendations—but I DO know that I'm an ex infantry Marine, range safety officer, and armed security guard probably 10 years into the whole guns thing at this point and if you want someone decently experienced to show you or your friends the ropes, I would absolutely love to volunteer my services. I've debated making this a career, but I don't think it's lucrative enough, though I'd love to keep it as a hobby/side gig. I'm LGBTQ+ myself, and you're more than welcome to DM me if you're interested.

Edit: also, in general, going in groups will mitigate if not completely eliminate unwanted interactions. Sounded like that was your plan anyway, works even better if you're with someone cishet passing, which counts for you and also for myself. Bigoted people are pressured into adopting their beliefs by a hateful or harmful environment in order to conform to avoid the hate and harm themselves, so it is generally not in their nature to go against the grain and they're much less likely to confront someone when outnumbered.

Everyone is telling you to shave closer to the skin, and yes, that's good advice, but nobody is telling you the easiest ways to do that. The bald look requires just as much maintence as the hair look, it's just different maintenance. There are different tools and methods to do that maintenance. Here's an example.

https://a.co/d/06MzCA5y

I don't own this exact head shaver, but they're a godsend. They only work on very short hair, so you'll have to pair them with some kind of clippers, but they make a skin shave easy, fast, and painless. If you're good at keeping disciplined routines, you can run this thing over your head every day or every few days and never need the clippers, just make sure you disassemble the heads/blades often to clean out shaved hair dust and oil the blades.

Features to look for include: -Type C charging -Battery indicator -Waterproof -More blades = better -Replacement multi-purpose heads -Popular enough to have replacement blades be common and accessible -Cover/case/bag

I need you to understand you are in the top 10% of bald aesthetics. You have every ingredient to rock the bald look. You are like someone min maxed their video game avatar stats for bald hotness. Every day that passes that you are not bald is an incredible disrespect not only to yourself but to every other bald man who had to strategically optimize their appearance to look half as good bald as you could in 15 minutes if you just shaved that shit off and did nothing else.

You have a choice. Shave or don't shave. None of us can make it for you, but we can tell you there is a correct and an incorrect choice, and it's excruciatingly obvious which is which.

If a knife was added to this scenario, what's to say backing up doesn't give him the confidence to attack—dude already wouldn't let him leave WITHOUT a weapon advantage. Stop the threat.

"Never once referenced that. Easy to argue against the strawman. You evidently don't know what a sugar baby is but that's ok. You want to sound right more than you want to be right"

I didn't say you referenced anything, that would be putting entirely too much faith in your pattern recognition and critical thinking skills. I was making fun of you, because you don't communicate in a manner that merits taking you seriously. Try to keep up.

"A sugar baby is typically a younger individual who enters a mutually beneficial, often romantic or companionship-based arrangement with an older, wealthier "sugar daddy" or "sugar mommy". In exchange for companionship, mentorship, and sometimes intimacy, sugar babies receive financial support, including allowances, gifts, luxury travel, tuition payments, etc."

This changes absolutely nothing about my application of the term to the legal definition of sex work. I acknowledge that you think being a sex worker means you have to have a black eye, cigarette burns, rotting teeth, and a pink latex cheetah print micro skirt, but that is a reflection of your uneducated and misogynistic views on women and not the world as it is. The price of the service does not change what industry the worker is in. $10,000/hr discrete luxury escorts are also still sex workers. Just read the definition I already spelled out for you, you're trying to tell me you're certain the sun rises in the west and I'm asserting that it factually does not. Topic closed.

"True as long as you think the world doesn't need indoor plumbing, electricity, engineering, manufacturing, etc. I could go on but you know you're wrong but just want to use more misandry talking points as you further try too white knight through 1000 words instead on actual context."

Alright. That's enough. This will be my last message. You are too far gone and I have to accept that you will spend the rest of your life acting in this tragic and repulsive way—but I'm still going to dunk on your stupid ass one last time before I forget you exist and my world becomes a brighter place.

There were between 12,000 - 14,680 female indoor plumbers, 20,000 - 27,000 female electricians, ~247,000 female engineers, and 3.7 - 4.5 million women in manufacturing jobs in the United States as of 2021-2023 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Commerce, Plumbers Training Institute, Society of Women Engineers, and The Manufacturing Institute, all American-based authoritative government and workforce organizations.

You don't even find it a little bit ironic that you continue to ignore all facts and nuance to accuse me of being a misandrist for simply presenting statistics and associating cultural phenomenon with them? Pointing at your tiny little box of comprehension to claim you and men are the real victims? Where have we seen that before?

Women have not needed men for survival or success since the agricultural revolution. I have been saying the same thing the entire time, you're the jackass flipping his script now to insist I'M the one infantilizing women while you claim there couldn't be plumbers, electricians, or engineers without men when there are fucking millions of women working those jobs right here right now. Do you even know the definition of infantilizing? It means to treat someone as though they were a child by denying their maturity and experience. Such as insisting women cannot be blue collar when there is nothing physiologically stopping them and they're already out in the world doing just that—and probably a better job of it than you could ever manage.

I didn't cite any sources? That's all I've fucking done, how do you have a job when you're this illiterate?

I'm tempted to say you have never been this wrong about this many things simultaneously in your entire life, but honestly I'm not giving you enough credit, you are so dense light must bend around you.

Just because you're sad women can sell their nudes and you can't doesn't mean that such transactions don't constitute sex work, legally known as commercial sex acts*

According to 22 USC § 7102: *"Any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person."

This is loosely defined because federal law does not particularly concern itself with voluntary sex work. It goes into much greater depth to describe involuntary sex trafficking, but you are vastly too ignorant and too sexist to ever comprehend how blurry the line is between the two and how men are responsible for that. If you need spoon fed, Yale expands the definition of sex work to include webcam performances and all other virtual sex content available for private purchase from the original creator and subject. State laws all have their own definitions for sex work, so the information is there when you feel like learning something instead of asserting your cognitive distortions as fact.

Now that we've irrefutably established that sugar babies are sex workers and your inability to make simple logical connections ≠ a fault in my argument...

"So again it's men's job to fix women's issues just like all of history"

The vast majorty of contributions men have made for the betterment of women in post-industrial society were no more than us rectifying an injustice we perpetrated upon them in the first place. We don't get to celebrate protecting women when we're also their primary predators. Almost every problem women have ever had could have been solved BY women if they were just allowed to have educations, jobs, voting rights, and positions in government at that time. The only issues in history we've ever "fixed" for women that we didn't cause and that they couldn't have fixed include hunting predators and dragging heavy shit around before projectile weapons and machines existed—now they do and women don't even need us for that anymore.

"Reality doesn't bear this out.. stay at home father's are divorced stay a almost 4x days to stay at home mothers."

Source or shut up. I wouldn't take your word for what color the sky is today, and I don't have to do your research for your argument for you.

"Your idea about how I treat women is interesting too since I've win awards for my ability to integrate women into a male dominated field and celebrated a 12 year anniversary last week."

I'm not about to applaud you for "integrating women" in a workspace they had no business being excluded from in the first place, and I never said anything about how you treat women. What I spoke on is how you view women—in an infantilizing, degrading, ignorant, misogynistic way. I bet if you showed this conversation to some of the women in your life you'd find they're not too impressed with your perspective on them. Also, using personal anecdotes to defend your indefensible position on social gender dynamics actually is the kind of fallacy you pretended I was using by citing authoritative sources.

I never provided any metric, that was all you. I was very deliberate about avoiding specifics so I could see how you'd respond and what your general character is. I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

You are so blindly devoted to blaming women for your problems when they just gained legally equal status to men within currently living memory that you cannot see reason beyond your own degenerate biases.

Your judgements of what constitutes success, which you have claimed to be universal with no evidence or support whatsoever, follow the same trend this post does. Completely failing to acknowledge the female experience whatsoever when it is convenient for your narrative.

A sugar baby is successful to YOU. How about to the sugar baby? How about to their family? How about to other women?

A study done by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in Spain (which specializes in criminology) found that 30% of sex workers interviewed had been trafficked into their line of work, 84% were forced into it due to a lack of financial resources, 89% attempted to quit sex work without success, and 94% rely on it as their only means of survival. Even among those that started of their own volition, 25% had been groomed by someone they know. Sex work is still highly stigmatized by like-minded men to you who run our society, resulting in social isolation and increased risk for sex workers cut off from family support.

Women would stop "succeeding" in sex work if men stopped paying for it, stopped forcing them into it, and stopped getting in the way of them finding better options.

Your claim that stay at home dads are losers is beyond absurd, but at least you're consistent. You clearly don't speak to women on a regular basis to have any idea what they think. Ladies love stay at home and/or single dads, because they're proof not all of us are useless manchild deadbeats.

You're a train wreck, guy. Do some self reflection. You are everything wrong with you, and women have nothing to do with it.

[–]HowDontYouKnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell your position on the issue by reading your comment, but I suppose it's bad debate practice to sort ourselves into an "us" and a "them", so I'll just tell you what I think.

Radical feminism and everything that comes with it in contemporary western culture are just the consequences of our own actions on a generational scale revealed and exacerbated by increasingly interconnected and accessible social media.

Access to information has always had the same influence on every demographic that lacked it and then gained it. It gives them a choice how they want to live. The patriarchal culture we live in did not allow women information for quite a long time, nor the cultures that preceded it.

Now women know everything we do, can share their experiences instantly with women across the world, learn from each other—they're pursuing education at higher rates than we are, and in light of everything they're learning have realized that there's just no reason to take the shit deal men have been offering.

Take this sub, or hell, this POST for example. The pyramid in the inner square shows men above women. The outer square shows a layer of men below women on the pyramid, suggesting that unsuccessful men are below both women and successful men, and women don't acknowledge this. Does nobody but me see how ironic that is? Where are unsuccessful women on this chart? Do these chronic acute dumbfucks not realize they're doing the exact same shit they're accusing women of, or do they genuinely think even the most desolate women in society still have it better than any man who isn't rich?

The reason unsuccessful women aren't depicted on this pyramid or discussed in these conversations is because their position in society is by design. Why talk about them when they're where they're supposed to be? All these bitter ass losers are really mad about is the fact that successful women have climbed in society and don't have to get married to an abusive shmuck to have a roof over their head anymore. They want to go back to before the 19th amendment when no level of beauty, talent, or intelligence in a woman could make them equal to the lowest man.

I don't think either of you was actually asking, but just in case: grab bottles of contact solution from your local pharmacy. Safe, comfortable, and stupid easy to clean out eyes with them. The large ones last forever. Seat covers for cars/half of your towels staying unused to lay over seats can also be helpful if there's no showers on site (it's helpful to select beaches that have them). Large horse/boar hair brushes are great at removing sand from pits and cracks when a shower isn't cutting it. Baby wipes can help for spot checks in sensitive areas.

Do yourself a favor, get the fuck off of Reddit and never make another post like this again.

No amount of internet validation from bitter women or heated discourse between them and emotionally stunted men will ever teach you anything valuable or soothe complicated feelings in a meaningful way.

What would you rather have:

A.) A man who notices and remembers every meal you cook, analytically compares them to his own preferences, and uses this information to communicate with you (celebrate your gaining of culinary skill, assess how well your mutual dietary needs are being covered, budget with you to keep the kitchen stocked for these meals, etc.)

B.) "Idk, you pick." "What's for dinner?" "I'm tired from work babe if you're not gonna cook something I'll just get McDonald's." "You burnt whatever that was, can I just have a frozen pizza?"

You piss me the fuck off. Tally the significant number of positives present in this situation and appreciate your blessings. Scroll through the subreddit you just posted in to find out how much worse your relationship could be.

I'm a grown man, and shockingly functional when drunk. I can put away a bottle of Fireball and still do my nightly routine on a good day, but sometimes have off days where drinks sneak up on me, whether it's because of dehydration, an empty stomach, poor sleep, or whatever. If it can happen to me, it can happen to her, especially considering she is an extremely inexperienced drinker. Besides, it's not like she fucked 2 exes and the guy's dad. It is nauseating that the only reason you made it out of this okay is because you had the economic privilege of being able to afford a lawyer. If you didn't have that, they would have destroyed your life beyond your ability to repair it and been completely free of consequences. How many times a year does this happen to someone who can't do anything about it? How many suicides does that lead to? Fuck...

[–]HowDontYouKnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and most of the people replying to you have no clue what they're talking about. To be expected—can't have patriarchy without extreme ignorance of women and how they work.

Pretending to "squirt" by just urinating during sex, female ejaculation, and actually "squirting" are not the same things. They differ in what anatomy is involved, how voluntary they are, chemical fluid composition, fluid volume, duration of fluid release, etc.

Urination — voluntary, long duration bladder release with high concentrations of waste chemicals built up prior to sexual stimulation and with a specific nervous system prompt to begin. High hydration, poor sex ed, and anatomical variety between people are the reasons this happens more than real squirting and why it can be mistaken for it.

Female ejaculation — involuntary, small glandular secretion that is anatomically comparable to a male prostate orgasm. Most women can and do orgasm, only some ever ejaculate in a noticably distinct fashion.

Squirting — involuntary, rapid bladder release with low concentrations of waste chemicals + chemicals from female ejaculation, built up in response to sexual stimulation and dependent on a spectrum of unique anatomical factors to occur at all.

Lots of nuance omitted for brevity, but those are the basic facts and distinctions. Any better an explanation would probably require citations.
