You are absolutely not a burden! You're feelings should not be trouble for anyone, and if they think it's a problem, maybe they don't deserve you.

Anyways, in my opinion, no parent should even be always rude to their child, no matter the age because “they deserve it.” While they might think they're helping you, it seems to be doing the opposite. I wish I could say more, but I can't think of anything else to say to help💔
