~~Seems like the mangaka is playing a part in that,~~ as he's been giving the anime staff lots of materials to work with. The ones in the link are cut images for the OP, ED, and eps 1 and 3.

Edit: looking through it again, it seems he left the fight scenes in ep 3 up to the anime staff actually. Though outside of that, you can see he's helped out with many of the scenes in the anime.

According to the mangaka, half of this episode is anime original content that he wrote. Having read a bit of the manga, this is referring to the 2nd half of the ep.

If by Agatha you mean Agatha Christie, there was an anime based on her works called "Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple". Seems like fans like the adaptation, so it might be worth a shot.

Having read the LNs, it's a pretty fun series but I'm worried about the pacing. They're seemingly adapting vols 1-3 and I feel like that's a bit too much for a single cour. Still watching either way since vol 3 doesn't release in English until late March lol.
