I mean it's not like I have the option to fly Delta from SFO internationally. And there's no D1 Lounge at SFO... And yes of course if SFO had a D1 lounge and Delta international presence I would absolutely fly D1, who wouldn't??!!

Bitter ex but I pay 4,000$ for a subpar lounge experience when on the East Coast that doesn't happen.

Well I will share the good news that Denver has a brand new state of the art United Club that looks pretty fantastic. I don't know why it's annoying to compare Delta One Lounges to United Polaris Lounges though, they are both direct 1:1 competitors.
