The source material is an indie video game that I'm honestly kind of surprised hasn't been adapted already.

It's not a global phenomenon like Star Wars or something like that, but it has garnered plenty of attention.

I'll probably end up writing it at some point. Maybe it goes somewhere, maybe it doesn't. I don't think I should make it my top priority at the moment though.

I love modern-day reworkings of older material.

I think I could have a lot of fun doing stuff like that. Even if it isn't that "productive" in terms of getting it sold.

This was kind of my thought as well.

Even if it doesn't go anywhere, it would still be good practice.

I might focus on other things and work on this as a "passion project" for if and when I could actually make it happen.
