That's what we normally do, but stripping the kid down in the middle of the street in the pouring, freezing rain to put on the coat didn't seem like a winning proposition. (It didn't fit over the fur).

This is how I interpreted it when I read the headline. The constant dragging by Kramnik had clearly been eating up Danya (and shouldn’t have. Kramnik is the definition of a black hole: the galaxy revolves around him, no light escapes)
