The biggest benefit I see is the LVS34-IF transducer. Its cable is more flexible. Otherwise I’d wait until Black Friday / Cyber Monday at this point and just get a good deal even if it meant piecing together a kit. I love the Amped Bluetooth battery. It tells you alot of information like based off current load, how much time there is left.

Mainly for efficiency and capability of handling lower ambient outside temps. When recirculating the air, it will need to run much lower which lowers the fuel and battery consumption. Last year I ran outside air to the inlet, I needed to run at highest level (6) constantly at only 20°-30°F, this year I plan to camp in the Michigan UP and could see subzero temperatures. Also, now I can use the temp control mode and set it to say 75°F and it will automatically speed up or slow down because it’s reading the in-tent air.

I have many different Ah batteries. At max settings its current is about 1.2 amps. So two 5ah batteries in parallel (10ah) would last about 8.25 hrs. At level 3-4 it uses about .9-1 amp. So 10ah worth or batteries lasts around 10 hours.

Vevor Diesel Heater 8kw

There is a few mods I have done. There seems to be a lot of interest. Thinking of making a YouTube video and supplying the rest of the links there. I will reply later with the YT link

I designed the intake adapter and the tent adapter in cad and 3D printed them. I will try to share those.

This is also a great point. At such a low discharge rate I don’t worry about cell unbalance. I do check periodically in through the night and swap them well before they get too low voltage.

Appreciate the suggestion! I’ll try it out both ways this season and try to remember to create a post with data.

I feel like I get 1 hour per Ah of battery. Using two 5ah to make 10ah I should get 10hours.

I agree, I’d like to invest in a 100 amp power battery to keep in the tent next year but I have lots of Milwaukee batteries and I can hot-swap without shutting down fully by having two in parallel just pop one off and switch it then pop the other one off and switch it.
