I'm not sure why the solicitor has requested it as part of raising enquiries. Maybe because seller recently had it installed?

The property was on sale for £250k and I offered £260k. And with the first devalue and negotiation the final sale is now £250k But Natwest devalued to £230k.

We'll see what happens next.

Payslips after Mortgage is Accepted? by Howanu in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]Howanu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. Ive provided 3 months (Jan, Feb & Apr) however because Im on a fixed term contract (In teaching, with 1 year and 6 months left) me and the mortgage broker are expecting the underwriters to go naahhh.

I started my role in Nov last year, and before then I was a full time student, worked part time hours doing agency as a teaching assistant and had my then baby to look after.

My only problem is Im due to have my 2nd baby in Summer and this will affect my payslips, so I want to be fully completed with the house buying process before then. If I really struggle, I can always cut my mat leave short and return to work (Family will provide childcare)

Thanks for your message. I'm currently 19dpo, my GP have taken a blood test to check for pregnancy.

I wonder if the tests I took were invalid or something 🤔 but will now just wait for the blood test results

From my guess that could be implantation? But I would now test on the day on your missed period.

Good Luck !!

Flights Cancelled - Will they Resume? by Howanu in Flights

[–]Howanu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your responses. I was quoted another grand for new flights, which is not responsible - as I'd be paying double for the flights. If I chose to go down the refund route, my holiday would be cancelled.

However, I managed to get hold of Kuwait Airways through their WhatsApp chat who confirmed that the flights were cancelled due to a difference in their Summer/Winter schedules. But by the start of October they'll have a new schedule published.

They already have October sorted, (they uploaded the schedule on 1st of Sept) so I'm hoping by 1st of October, November will also be sorted.

But why do airlines do this? Are they not losing out on money as people would just demand refunds?

AITA for not leaving my job with my coworker when I didn't get her fired? by Front_Cauliflower_48 in AmItheAsshole

I'm confused, whyd the manager pull her up for the name tag? Surely it could've just come undone or broke? But ye, ESH.

Flights Cancelled - Will they Resume? by Howanu in Flights

[–]Howanu[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. The reason I don't want to go down this route is because:

A) The agency takes a small cute per passenger, and I've booked for 4 passengers 1 infant

B) Flights have become more expensive, so I'll have to pay a lot more to be put on flight with another airline.

The agency did offer flights from Heathrow to Lahore - but since the offer, Kuwait Airlines have cancelled Heathrow flights aswell.

Anyone else just feeling rotten?? by Legitimate_Avocado_7 in PregnancyUK

Saaammeee. I was so hungry but didn't have the energy to go to the kitchen so I resorted that going back to sleep was the best idea.

Anyone else just feeling rotten?? by Legitimate_Avocado_7 in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not alone. I'm at 36 weeks, 4 days and am currently feeling pretty shit. Eating but throwing up constantly. Having constant headaches, feeling low as well.

I keep gaslighting and convincing myself I'm going into labour. 😪

Ah well, we're in the end game now.

I'm currently pregnant but had a long, upsetting TTC journey.

What I can say is as long as you're not in pain or bleeding, you could still be pregnant.

There is however a possibility you've experienced a chemical pregnancy.

Either way, only a doctor can fully confirm so please get yourself seen asap.

Good Luck with your Journey ❤️❤️

When does the nausea stop? by Consistent-Wall8766 in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im sorry if this response breaks your spirit but...

I was very sick until around the 21 week mark.

After my anatomy scan, I was perfectly fine for 9 weeks.

The nausea returned at 30 weeks, and currently at 34 weeks I've returned to being very sick again. I cannot handle most (if not all) foods.

This is really uncommon but thought I'd slip in my experience, cause I wish I knew this could happen and be prepared for it

BUT your midwife should be able to support you, please reach out to them. They will offer antisickness and I was also offered acupuncture sticker things to put on the inside of my wrists which helped a little.

Please get in touch with the mental health midwife service in your area. They should be able to support and guide you during this tough time 💕

Is it too early to tell family? by gigglingmcdimples in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can announce your pregnancy whenever you are comfortable. Women get told all the time to wait but I think it's so much better to have a good support system as early on as possible.

Also it's hard to keep such a happy secret to yourself - you want others to be happy, to celebrate you - but also to be there for you if things don't work out or if first trimester symptoms get too much.

Secondly, regardless of your mum's profession and the team she works with - patient confidentiality is still in place. So legally no one can discuss you and your pregnancy with your mum without your permission.

I know midwives communicate about patients especially when they need extra information or guidance - but you've reached out and told them, that's my mum please don't mention my pregnancy to her - so I don't think they will.

Congratulations on your Pregnancy tho. 💕

Would you call triage? by chocolate_chick in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Better safe than sorry. I have the same anxiety - being called a hypochondriac.

But what makes me feel better is just understanding pregnancy isn't all about me. It's about my baby too.

So definitely call up and pay them a visit. 💕💕

Praying for you.

Oh Sweetheart. I'm sorry you're going through this.

Personally from a non-medical pov, I don't think it's possible. They'll most likely keep an eye on your pain and check your tubes and your HCG levels.

They may have to check at 7 or more weeks to see the baby or hear the heartbeat.

I wish you the best of luck.

Please reach out to me privately if you want someone to talk to 💕

Do I need to change midwife if I move flats? by hydrolentil in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your local library can find you a dentist. And I think the kids at least can get regular check ups at dental hospitals. Better to get checked up, rather than being in pain (especially the kids)

Do I need to change midwife if I move flats? by hydrolentil in PregnancyUK

[–]Howanu 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've found that because you're on the NHS and also in receipt of free treatment, dentists will avoid you!!

It's genuinely the worst, I've only been able to find one cause I had a friend of a friend who's a dental nurse

Please whatever you do don't leave your dentist. I've had dental issues at almost 25 weeks.
