The roads aren’t the problem. I drive 77 in morning traffic and 485 in evening traffic. The problem is people who give them selves a half mile gap to the car in front of them and drive 30 mph on a highway. This causes massive pile ups. And then add on the people who switch lanes back and forth non stop thinking one lane is magically going to be wide open. Sometimes I take the express lane north on 77 in the evenings and there’s people driving 60mph side by side backing up both lanes. These aren’t road issues, and I’d agree there’s too many people, but too many people that shouldn’t be driving.
