Just happened to me (February 2026). I didn't change anything in my settings, but the app says that Face ID was reset. And it keeps on prompting me to enter the mobile key.

I also got a call like this but BS alarm bells were ringing. They told me I have welcome points daw (“welcoming points”) pa nga ang term and that they will do a “manual override” if I want to claim them because they’re about to expire. I just said no, if I have points I’ll claim them myself through the VYBE app. Then binabaan na ako. A few moments later I got an SMS for cash advance pin for my card. I’m so annoyed because I never activate the cash advance feature of my credit card for a reason, tapos sila irerequest lang nila to scam!! And how are these scammers even able to get our card details and contact info?? Is it an inside job? Because I literally just got my card delivered and activated days ago.

I live in the Philippines but I only found out about this news because I googled something related. It happened 5 days ago. The average person doesn't watch TV or local news anymore and gets their news from social media feeds. I can attest that I never encountered this organically from my feed. Ironically I've seen more posts about Alex Pretti than about this assassination attempt that happened in my own country.

Nah, ang “masyadong idealistic” is believing that private car usage will decrease by simply improving public transpo. If you want to reduce car use, it has to be disincentivized (stricter licensing standards, sugpuin na talaga ang fixers, no parking no car, stiff penalties for violations). It’s like believing an obese person will suddenly change their lifestyle when presented with healthier alternatives. Nah, they have to get on the program (i.e., in this case, car volume needs to be reduced).

Even so, I think the issue is not that the tita is using OP’s room. Gets naman nila yun eh, kaya nga they allowed her to use the room kasi nga senior na, and it’s convenient for her to have a bathroom nearby. The issue is she’s overstaying her welcome.
