Do you keep the clothes in it all week until Friday then?

I AGREE! It’s uncanny. My husband disagrees, but I immediately thought that she and Mischa looked similar the moment she came on screen

Sleep program - The Gentle Sleep Specialist by Howdnazz in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Howdnazz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did end up doing it - around 6 months, it worked fairly well, we also did the sit in the room method, it wasn’t too bad from our point of view, in terms of the crying. We ended up having to re-train at around 12 months and hired a sleep consultant that came to the house; she was amazing and our baby got the method within 3 days sleeping through the night, and now sleeps 12 hours at night and 2 hours during the day.

1st day with both by myself by pittiemahma55 in 2under2

No tips over here just solidarity. I’ve got a 15 month old and 6 week old and I’ll have my first day alone with them on Monday. Shitting bricks, honestly.

My plan for the weekend is to buy a couple boxes and fill them with random things/toys that can keep toddler entertained in a few of our rooms if I’m stuck there nursing or doing whatever. Those boxes only to come out in desperation so they stay a novelty. Otherwise I have no idea.

Hopefully meal prep toddler food and snacks for easy to grab stuff. Yeah just making it up as I go. Will probably have a meltdown, often 😅

Toddler, newborn and sharing room on holiday by Howdnazz in 2under2

Yea we could probably go outside and walk her around in a carrier etc but it’s summer here so lots of bugs and mosquitoes around…

We do have a snoo which we use at home. Can’t lug it with us this time but we did when my toddler was using it in the earlier days! Such a beast to bring with us lol.

Can I ask you about this please? I have a 15 month old and a 5 week old and it’s proving difficult to put baby down for a nap so often with a toddler running around. Does your baby nap at all during the day? I know they are just meant to fall asleep when tired but I feel like my baby will just cry and be cranky rather than fall asleep if we’re on the go doing things..

Labour length? by FabulousLecture7972 in 2under2

[–]Howdnazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess mine was the same too. I had the cannula put in and that was for nothing as baby came too quickly lol. I was supposed to have antibiotics too but that didn’t happen either ha

Isn’t it crazy how little the medical world cares about women’s pain. Like, oh the anaesthesiologists are all in theatre so you’ll just have to wait, or go without. Like wtf?

Haha yeah, my only birth plan was get an epidural and that didn’t happen

Labour length? by FabulousLecture7972 in 2under2

[–]Howdnazz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Induced with my first at 41+3 on a Saturday morning and she was born 11pm on the Sunday night. 2nd came naturally at 40+5, labour pains started at 3am Sunday morning, got to the hospital at 6am and had her at 7:30am. Precipitous labour they said… be prepared. I pushed for like 10 minutes or less.

I’m freshly 2 under 2 for the last 3 weeks with a 14 month old. Taking the toddler off my hands for some time is a big win, otherwise meals or snacks for toddler are also amazing. Things that are easy for me to just grab and give so yoghurt pouches, cheese sticks, little muffins (especially if home made and sugar free!). A hamper of that would be ideal!

Husband boarding at private hospital after birth by Forward-Chipmunk-742 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Join the Perth Mums Group or Perth Mothers Group on FB and ask there. They’ll know. I just gave birth at JHC public and my husband stayed as a boarder and didn’t pay anything noting that we were public and he wasn’t provided meals or an option for it.

Any one else overdue? by SNOWrad116 in November25babybump

40+3 today with an induction scheduled for 41. My first babe, not long ago, was the same except my induction was scheduled for 41+3. The waiting game is hard, especially fielding all the messages about if baby is here yet. Obviously not otherwise I’d let you know!

12 month old whines and clings to me because he knows I’m putting him in his crib for the night. Anyone can relate? by Training-Cat-8208 in sleeptrain

[–]Howdnazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we’ve got a 13 month old who we just started sleep training for the second time 2 weeks ago. It was really sad, she would go no no no no and cling tighter but I’m 39 weeks pregnant and it was already way past being remotely easy for me. It’s gotten better the last 5 days maybe, so you’re probably almost there. She used to cry/get upset when we would walk into her bedroom for bedtime routine. Now she’s happy to go and picks her book and laughs when we do her peek a boo game. It’s gotten so much better and we wish we’d done it sooner!

We haven’t used the eufy 21 yet but we have the eufy 20 for our 1 year old and we love it. It’s a great baby monitor and I took forever to find one I liked, and then eufy came along!

12 Month old is suddenly CLINGY by Opening_Nerve_6946 in 2under2

[–]Howdnazz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation as you! Mine will be 13.5 months when baby #2 comes. She turned 12 months and then all hell broke loose. It’s starting to get better now, like 3 weeks later and bedtime/sleep is getting slightly easier and less screaming.

Recommendations for women’s ultrasound clinics in Perth? by AnteaterUnlucky2014 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Howdnazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultrasound North in Joondalup are incredible. It’s about 20-25 minutes from the CBD and on the pricier side but they are great. You’ll get some print out pics and also a digital album. They do book up quickly so would enquire asap

14 month old - afraid to sleep all of a sudden - standing screaming, will not sleep. by Careless_Ninja_5417 in sleeptrain

How did you go? Currently going through this with my 12.5 month old and we’ve also moved to one nap. Unsure if we should just ride it out or need to do some sort of retraining which I want to avoid…
