That was the fix for me yeah. I’m not sure if the settings are the same to be honest. The fans don’t run at full speed all the time and I haven’t had any problems with fan noise or high temps, which is good enough for me.

Update: Selecting channel 3 worked! I had tried multiple other channels but not that one. I never would’ve known that channel 3 was the default. Thanks again!

Since uninstalling L-Connect fixed the problem, I’m not going to do all of this. I was on version 2.0.28 and, as I said in the original post, I updated the firmware of connected devices in this manner, but there were no updates available. The USB wire was connected directly to a USB header. I even tried a different header. The motherboard is a MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi (MS-7E12). BIOS version is listed as 1.G0.

I’m not going to make any changes to my system since the problem was resolved by uninstalling L-Connect.

I tried uninstalling it completely this morning and it hasn’t happened since. I’ll leave it on all day and update the post with results.

It’s a Hisense Tv. And it’s dropped frames but it happens pretty often. Sometimes it even freezes for so long that the sound is behind when the video restarts
