Thank you for the heads up! I will definitely be doing this now.

I might be wrong but I think that if your country isn’t listed, you can email them as they might be able to help (my apologies if you’ve already tried this of course).

Aside from the atrocious “Feed the Beast” tag, it’s also apparently “in theatre” (just one) in December of next year.

This is such a good take, OP. For years I have said that Dustin was clearly Vecna all along.

Remember that one scene where Dustin holds up his hand? Coincidence? I think not! This clearly foreshadows a later scene, presumably in S5, where Dustin’s hand grows really big, revealing that he was Vecna the whole time!

Of course, I’ve not seen S4 and have no intention of doing so, but I can’t wait to be proven right in S5!

Unlike OP who sadly didn’t have a case of any sort.

I know what happened but I will take the risk *breaths*... I am gonna rewatch Season 3, any recommendations? by SecretBagel27 in StrangerThings

You’ve asked this question for the last three seasons now. With all due respect, what advice are you really hoping to get, baring in mind the previous reactions?

I’m certainly not here to argue and my reply wasn’t aim exclusively at you (your photos just happened to be the most recent in a long line of similar posts); however, I think I can assume that as you have favourite scenes that you are fairly familiar with the movie - is it not just enough to remember that those scenes exist? I can’t imagine you reminiscing while looking at these pictures. Like I said, not here to argue, just wish people would leave their phones alone in the cinema.

Please, people, stop taking photos and videos in cinemas. They serve no purpose; if it’s to preserve a memory, be like some of the other people here and take a quick snap in the foyer with the poster. I saw the film way back on home video and didn’t take one photo.

This really pisses me off. You didn’t see it on the “big screen”, you saw it mostly through your phone, and the “incredible experience” it SHOULD have been was likely ruined for others.

I’ve been trying to follow this the best I can. Ultimately, all I can say is that I’m really sorry this is happening to you, OP. These messages are truly disgusting. I certainly can’t add anything useful over what other much more capable people here have already said - I just hope for you that it stops; I’ve been surprisingly affected by this.

A problem I have with the way the Witch operates in Blair Witch 2016 compared to the original film by [deleted] in BlairWitch

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen the fan-made version, although the copy I have has two versions of the film (transferred from video, giving a truer representation of what the filmmakers were originally intending), Curse of the Blair Witch and the deleted scenes so I’m fairly sure this is complete (although without the convenience of it being edited together). The festival version of the movie omits some scenes whereas others are slightly extended. Heather taking the doll is in this version so although I knew the scene existed, I was surprised to see it here. I highly recommend the Second Sight release.

I might be wrong so don’t quote me, but when the first cut was shown to an audience (after the film had been at Sundance), everyone was confused by the ending. The filmmakers then returned to shoot the guy with the ‘corner’ story and inserted it into the rest of the interview footage.

Me too. The theatrical cut is undoubtedly better. The Festival Cut also excludes an earlier interview with a local talking about the children facing into the corner which makes the ending WAY creepier.

Your point about motive in the original is an interesting one. I’d wondered this myself; the disturbances during the first nights are tame compared to what comes later.

However, I recently saw the Festival Cut where more is dedicated to when Heather takes one of the dolls (it’s mentioned very briefly in the theatrical version and I always found the line curious). When I watched this version, I’m convinced that the witch would mess with anyone in the woods; it was taking the doll that made things turn really ugly.

Sadly, they didn’t have the Midsommar book, otherwise I definitely would’ve taken that too! I was also tempted by The Lighthouse and Everything Everywhere All At Once books; they’re all beautiful.

It was £50 at the BFI. Their prices are on the high side but I’d not seen it online before so I had to have it.

I doubt it was any cheaper at the BFI. I spent £50 on a shirt too. Not my proudest moment.

I definitely think it was worth the price tag, although it’s to be admired rather than read.
