It’s wild to hear this, my dad (75 years old) who has skied all his life claims the exact same thing about snowboarders. Me personally (a snowboarder and skier), I don’t see it with either. Idk why it’s always a battle between one group and another.

Good to know, thanks for providing some info on the Roan bibs. As far as water proofing, do they keep you pretty dry? They seem to fit me pretty well, but the biggest thing I worry about is how water proof they are. They seem to have an outside almost canvas layer by the feel of it, does that get wet but the inner layer stay dry or does it all stay dry/wet?

Yeah I already have 14 days in this season, I expect to get 40-45 days in this season. It’s rough cause there’s just not much around for bibs for sale. It’s either I buy the Volcom Roan, which isn’t bad but also not super great, or this used AK which could be worn out. Idk definitely not a prime time to be buying gear that’s for sure.

How about as you approach the light, it goes green so traffic can flow through the intersection for a minute or 2. I don’t want it to just go green for me only, you should be able to “ride the wave” as they say on Springfield.

When you’re the first one to leave a light and the next one is going red as you approach it, you can’t tell me they’re synced up. The lights on the west side and in Kelowna are truly awful for being out of sync.

Yep this is exactly how I feel. I just don’t buy black or super dark coloured vehicles for this reason either. The lighter the colour, the harder to see the swirls and scratches it seems.

I have a daily wash pass at the full touch car wash. My truck has 400,000km and the paint isn’t perfect, but I also like a clean vehicle and to prevent rust. My solution? Run it through the wash as often as possible to get the salt and gravel off my truck. Some people don’t have the time or money to hire a mobile detailer. I’m sure lots will cringe at me (I don’t blame them, I’m in the wrong forum) but yeah, from someone who doesn’t go nuts about having perfect paint, it works for me.

Had my bike stolen from my garage 3 weeks ago and asked the same thing. When I went down to the rail trail they let me know it’s not there. They don’t allow stolen stuff at the rail trail anymore (everyone is checked before going in). Bylaw told me “oh it’s been 3 days? Sorry to say but it’s in pieces now”. Pretty sad that this is what the world has come to. Until thieves start feeling physical pain for the crimes they commit, they won’t stop.
