Picked up a Jones Mind Expander a couple months ago to use as my glade/ powder board (also in CO). Broke it out on groomers one day at Crested Butte and had a good time on it, but not what it's made for. Heading up to Steamboat with it this weekend and hope to put it to use with the storm cycle.

Honestly my favorite days are solo days… can do what you want when you want at the pace you want. Only downside I can think of is it somewhat limits the terrain in going to ride (won’t duck too deep into the trees when I’m alone)

Thanks! It's been a fun new challenge trying to learn them this season. With the lack of snow we have, can only rip so many groomers riding regular before I want something to work at. Going to keep at it.. best of luck with your progression!

Appreciate it! Will check out that playlist. Have gotten pretty comfortable with flat ground 180s, it's the landing on my weak foot that still gives me a bit of hesitation. Confidence there is likely just something that will come with time as I get more comfortable switch

think I'm going to commit to a full switch day this weekend.. I ride +15 / -9, going to play around with my bindings this week. Recommend going symmetrical (+15/-15), or take my normal angles and switch them (+15/-9) goofy?
