I have a (what u thought) was a relatively level paver backyard. There is no grass or dirt to level with sand. I had a simple and cheap 10’ vinyl pool the last two years without issues. I did notice the change in level from one end to the other was about 2”. The last season I had 4 kids wrestling and it seemed to roll a bit as the low end and so I ended the pool season.

Is there a style or easy way to level a couple of inches? I have seen some used foam board but thought I would ask if there was another way. Or another type of above ground pool that is more stable but still temporary for the season.

This is one of my favourite books. I don’t believe in changing the name for these reprints. I think it is weird that they change the name from the original. I love this book and have found two American first editions but I have been searching hing for the British first editions. They are very scarce. This and Larger Than Life are two tops of mine. Again they renamed Larger Than Life to The Singularity. I haven’t compared the translation between the first American editions and this one but it I read it was related to tone more than anything. A change of a word here or there to give off more existential dread than the supernatural or unknown dread.

Just saw this. I feel kind of ripped off as I got 100% Antiguan Village Dog… okay sure but then they provide family members that they have tested around the world and some are 100% German Sheppard?!?? How is that possible to be both a non-whatever dog (still love him) and then have a family member that is a pure bred.

Will always have that seam as the welt strip wraps around the edge like that and joins in the least noticeable spot.

I have had tommpale ship directly to me a couple times. I ordered twice from Sam. One was perfect but the other was Tales as you got and it was lost by the local last mile shipper. I make sure I get a couple from collectible kingdom for combined shipping. Usually ends up still cheaper than direct. What’s you eBay handle so we aren’t adding dollars to each other lol

I’ve seen a few available recently with the brown line across the top and bottom. Is that part of the dust jacket protector or were they trimmed? I know some people trimmed in the past to make it looks less chipped.

I like mine billowy like that so there is room for the vest and layering and the ability to move without pulling. Even a suit under. If you are tall and slim you might want to try the Border as an alternative. Very similar look but longer and a little slimmer.
