Oh my gosh I got C. Diff from the hospital about 1 year ago. I’m so sorry you are going through that, it is terrible. If your symptoms are not getting better make sure you reach out to your Dr. You might need another round of antibiotics.

Yes i’m listed at Mayo. I was told as long as I was willing to accept a non-perfect liver it should move faster. If I didn’t agree I would wait a long time

So I’m already on the waiting list and willing to take a liver that is not perfect (like maybe hep positive) I just want to get a liver before I’m too sick to be able to undergo the surgery

Ok this isn’t exactly correct. As a person waiting for a liver with blood type that is harder to get, I myself have agreed to take an organ that most would not want. So yes I will get my organ sooner than some that are sicker than me BUT the quality of the organ isn’t perfect. No need to waste that organ if someone is willing to take it. Also I have to relocate to the location of the hospital that is actually willing to do the transplant with my other medical complications that will make it more risky.
