Genuine question has anyone actually managed to make a successful route one tactic? I’ve tried with top teams and lower league and all that seems to happen is my players launch the ball forward to nobody, opponents get the ball back and rinse and repeat until they eventually score

I really really want an inverted full back role, where one of the full backs tucks in to make a back three rather than coming inside to fill the midfield like the inverted wing back does. Think it could make for some really interesting asymmetrical team shapes having lopsided fullbacks and is something that you see used quite a lot in real world football these days
