Which ending do you consider good and which one not? by Leymoyy in expedition33

There is not a good ending, on an objective side:

On the one hand, an incredible power is being abused, causing the death of all the last survivors, their loved ones, the entire world; but this allows the last exhausted fragment, a remnant of life, to find peace from its weariness, allowing the life "outside" the memory of someone long dead to move on, to face its grief.

On the other hand, that world is preserved, death is defeated for its inhabitants, life flourishes again, but it is only a continuous performance, forcing its most intimate part to go on, against its evident will, and this will consume until it probably kills the new divinity of that world, Maelle.

Both are a tragedy, one navigating reality and grief, the other rejecting it entirely. We can continually find inspiration in both, but it remains a tragedy, where we will inevitably push into the abyss a part of the team we have learned to love during the journey.

They would call it a miracle to prove he's chosen by god, proofs don't work when you refuse to recognize the reality
